 | Post date: 2021/04/13 |
Researchers at AUT have successfully developed a model for implants of human bone tissue.
A doctoral graduate of the Biomedical Engineering Department at the Amirkabir University of Technology, Anahita Ahmadi Sufivand, stated that the objective of this dissertation is to develop frameworks with characteristics as similar to bone tissue as possible and investigate them from both biomechanical and biological perspectives.
Nabiollah Abolfathi and Seyed Ataollah Hashemi, faculty members of AUT, were the supervisors of the above-mentioned project. In addition, based on this research, two journal articles were published in Additive Manufacturing (IF = 7) and Polymers for Advanced Technologies (IF = 2.5) Journals.
